Summer is six weeks of school holidays, and every parent eventually meets The Rainy Tuesday. A browser memory game is the plan B that needs no packing, no charging cable hunt and no negotiation — the beach deck at least keeps the holiday fantasy alive while it hammers down outside.
For travel days, it earns its place differently: airport gates, the back seat, the tent when it rains on the campsite. Rounds are a minute or two each, so handing over the device does not swallow the whole afternoon the way a video would.
And for the grown-ups, hard mode on the ocean-animals deck after the second ice cream is a legitimate test of whether the holiday is working.
Choose your difficulty
Every summer game runs at three levels — easy, medium and hard — switched inside the game at any time. Start easy for little ones, or jump to hard if you fancy the challenge.
