About the Gone Fishing Memory Game
Dawn on the lake, a flask of tea and the gentle plop of a cast line — fishing is meditation with a rod. A peaceful deck for anglers and anyone who loves a quiet morning by the water.
Fun Facts About Gone Fishing
- Fish hooks are among humanity's oldest tools — some found in Japan are over 20,000 years old.
- Fly fishing lures are hand-tied to imitate the insects fish love to eat.
- The biggest fish in the sea, the whale shark, eats some of the smallest food — plankton.
- Many anglers practise catch and release, returning every fish safely to the water.
How to Play
Tap any card to flip it over, revealing the catch image underneath. Tap a second card — if the two match, they stay face up and you keep going. If not, they flip back after a moment. Your goal is to match every pair in as few moves as possible.
Three difficulty levels are available: easy (6 pairs), medium (8 pairs) and hard (12 pairs). Start on easy if you're new, or jump straight to hard for a proper brain workout.
