Study tip: link the first three — wizard, witch and crystal ball — into one ridiculous mental picture. Absurd images stick; lists don't. When a picture vanishes, replay the scene and ask what doesn't fit any more.
How to memorise a fantasy board
Fantasy decks want a quest. Cast the board as a story: the dragon guards the crown, the wizard brews the potion, the knight carries the sword. Link each item to the next one until you have a six-beat plot — stories are the oldest memory technology precisely because a chain of causes is easier to hold than a list of objects.
Exploit the archetypes. Fantasy items come in pairs of rivals and partners — sword and shield, wizard and potion, dragon and treasure. Memorise the partnerships instead of the individual cards and half your recall work is done before the board hides.
How to Play
- Press Start and memorise every picture on the board.
- After a few seconds the board hides and one picture is removed.
- Pick the missing picture from the answer choices.
- Each correct answer adds a bigger board. Three misses ends the game.

Yes — dragons, castles and magic are the good stuff as far as most kids are concerned. The pictures are storybook-style and there is nothing scary beyond a cartoonish dragon.
What makes fantasy decks harder or easier than others?
They are easy to remember because the items are distinctive and story-friendly, which is why they are a good hard-mode deck: a big fantasy board challenges strategy rather than visual memory for near-identical tiles.
