Every September teacher knows the September problem: the recall circuits spent the summer at the beach. Memory games are the gentlest re-boot — three minutes on the alphabet or numbers deck at the start of the day, and the concentration muscles remember what they are for.
At home, the morning routine is the natural slot: one round while the toast cools beats one more cartoon, and it ends cleanly when the timer does. The difficulty selector lets a five-year-old and a ten-year-old use the same deck at their own level.
For the classroom, the school-days and playground-games themes make a good first-week activity — half the class playing, half watching and shouting helpful advice, then swap.
Choose your difficulty
Every back to school game runs at three levels — easy, medium and hard — switched inside the game at any time. Start easy for little ones, or jump to hard if you fancy the challenge.
